Requisition Number: 21322Required Travel: 26 - 50%Employment Type: Full Time/Salaried/ExemptAnticipated Salary Range: $49,352.00 - $70,096.00Security Clearance: Ability to ObtainLevel of Experience: MidThis position is to be a member of the COMNAVAIRPAC/COMNAVAIRLANT Material Control Assist Team (MCAT) as the Supply Subject Matter Expert (SME). The mission of MCAT is to train and prepare Ships Force on how to follow US Navy instructions / guidance onboard CVNs to be better prepared for assessments and inspections.What You Will Do

• Training sailors on how to properly execute their Schedule of Events (SOE).
• Assess equipment material condition.
• Document observations of identified discrepancies.
• Supports and participates in negotiations with the customer.
• Resolves problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters.
• Formulates and recommends corrective action measures.What You Must Have
• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
• Must have US Navy Supply background as active duty Navy and/or as a contractor.
• Knowledge of US Navy Food Service Excellence award (NEY) requirements.
• Experience conducting Supply Management Assessments and Supply Management Inspections.
• Experience with INSURV Material Inspections (MI).
• Experience conducting training and technical expertise Ships Force with the purpose of enhancing shipboard Supply service operations.
• Experience being a technical trainer, offering in-depth problem-solving methodologies and valuable recommendations for continuous improvements during all Supply assessments and inspections.
• Previous experience with one or more assignments onboard a US Navy Aircraft Carrier.
• Must have strong computer skills with MS Office applications.
• Must have strong communication skills; verbal, written, and electronically.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level DoD security clearance, CAC badge, base and ship access.Preferred: Bonus Points For
• A current, valid DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
• Experience supporting a TYCOM 3M Team.
• Experience as a member of a TYCOM staff.Physical RequirementsMay require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
