Job Description:

SUMMARY
• Design, develop, implement and manage our clients wired, wireless, and WAN networks architecture and topology.
• This person will be the technical lead and mentor for the networking team for LAN and WAN technologies such as switching, routing, network security, and network management.
• Provide guidance, help coordinate and prioritize for projects.
• Responsible for peer reviews of all network configurations and Change Management Requests for the network team.
• Responsible for maintaining a 10Gbps LAN and oversight of centralized network services such as DHCP and DNS, and network security.
• Design, implement and monitor network performance metrics and proactively recommend solutions for capacity planning purposes.
• Develop high level-training for other divisions within ITS on network best practices and work closely with Systems Administrators/Architects to help design right practices.
• Cisco routing/switching
 
QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years related experience. Related network infrastructure (e.g., switching, routing, VOIP) experience required.
• CCNP certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field; master’s degree preferable.
