like Humano, a leader in cost-per-unit staffing solutions for
distribution centers.We are seeking a Director, Business
Development to join our team and expand our presence in the USA,
specifically in one of our hub locations-San Diego or Los Angeles.
This individual will focus on growing the business for Humano and
potentially expanding small-client opportunities for CourtAvenue
LATAM.Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and secure new
business opportunities for Humano within the staffing
industry.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across
distribution centers, logistics providers, and other potential
clients.
- Lead the sales process from prospecting to close, ensuring
Humano's staffing solutions meet client needs.
- Identify opportunities for cost-per-unit staffing services in
unloading, loading, transloading, order selection, labeling,
sanitation, and more.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
and ensure exceptional client service.
- Utilize market intelligence and industry knowledge to stay
ahead of competitors and identify trends that can shape business
strategies.
- Maintain strong connections with small business prospects that
align with CourtAvenue LATAM's strategic initiatives.
- Manage and report on sales pipelines, forecasting, and
performance metrics.Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales,
preferably within staffing solutions, logistics, or distribution
services.
- Demonstrated success in securing new business and achieving
sales targets, with a strong track record in client
acquisition.
- Knowledge of staffing solutions in logistics and distribution
centers, with an understanding of cost-per-unit (CPU) labor
models.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills,
with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working
independently and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience working with CRM tools and proficiency in Microsoft
Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Native English Speaker and proficiency in the Spanish language
is a plus.Work Environment
- Our organization follows a structured hybrid work model, where
employees work in an office environment in the middle of the week
and remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
- Candidates for this position will ideally be located near our
offices in Los Angeles, CA or San Diego, CA.Commission opportunity
is variable based on the sale amount and could be up to 10% of the
