Job Description:
The Patient Safety Technician will be responsible for providing
support to the patient care team as well as attending to safety
needs of the patient. - Provides constant observation for patients
via electronic telesitter system. The Patient Safety Technician
will communicate with team members in a timely manner about his/her
observations of the patient's needs and activities. - Maintains
established departmental/hospital policies, procedures, objectives,
Performance Improvement and Patient Safety standards. Participates
in a safe, patient-centered care environment with quality patient
care delivery and effective communication with the healthcare team.
